I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of most chain restaurants due to their overly processed, salty, calorie laden food and I don't frequent them often. However, my wife were in town on a recent trip and decided to burn a gift card that would have been destined for drinks at bone fish grill. We popped in here Saturday night around 8 pm, and noticed they were on a wait. I'm not a fan of waiting to eat chain food, but options were limited in the area and we were hungry. We put our names on the list, but couldn't help but notice there were plenty of open tables able to accommodate our party of 2. Why weren't they seating tables? After 20 minutes with no explanation we were about to pull the plug, when we finally overheard a manager explain the reasoning. The restaurant allowed a party of 25 to be sat, which practically shut down the kitchen. They were purposely not seating additional people to allow the glut to work through the system. So our whole wait was artificial. We should have been seated when we first walked in. Restaurants need to say "no" to large parties unless they are specifically set up to handle large parties/events. Great, you accommodated 25 people in one stupid large party, and pissed off 100 other people who had to wait forever, or deal with food issues in the kitchen and slow service. Big parties make no sense anyway. You can't talk to the person at the end of the table, and it's just a logistical nightmare. Outback Mgmt. should have told this large party they could not accommodate a group of 25. Instead, they pissed off way more patrons than they made happy by accepting the large group. We finally got seated, and wasted no time ordering our food all at once. To her credit, our server was awesome. She was friendly and efficient despite the whole restaurant operating in chaos mode. Our food came out quickly and was properly prepared. The bloom petal batter was super salty, but that's just the way it is. You could say I was predisposed to not like the food here, and you'd be correct. But, the mgmt. of the restaurant really ruined the whole experience by making the decision to shut down the entire restaurant to accommodate one large group. Sometimes it's OK to just say "no".

Great food and drink. I had the Tuna, cooked to perfection. Britney, my server did a spectacular job.

We go to Outback all the time but this was our first time at this one. We enjoyed it very much. The kids grilled cheese was good and even when my daughter dropped one, they replaced it for no cost. My prime rib was well cooked and my wife's fish was good. The only issue was the food took a little longer than we would have liked. Overall, I will wait for good food....and this was above average food.

Service was excellent and the overall experience is what you would expect from chain restaurants. I found the steak not so great and bit on the chewy side even though I ordered it medium rare. I also found this particular Outback to be a bit on the dirty side.

Never feed your child Joey bites without tasting them first yourself. My son said "they taste funny/irony" so I tasted one myself. The moment this disgusting hunk of Dingo meat touched my tongue I thought "rancid". No exaggeration, it was flat out horrific in flavor. Rotten meat has a certain taste, and this was rotten. Then a female, whom I assumed was a member of the management, came over and tried telling me that it was the same cut of meat as the sirloin that I had. I was completely flabbergasted at this comment, I told her that was a ridiculous thing to say. My sirloin was actually quite good, cooked to perfection. Just looking at the two meats anyone with an IQ higher than 80 could easily see that these meats were NOT from the same cut. She wanted to argue with me by saying again how the Joey bites are the same steaks, it was at this point I told her that I was now getting angry. It has been a very long time since I have had to complain at a restaurant like this, and to then have a manager want to argue instead of just apologize WTF? The all you can eat shrimp seemed like something you would find at a convenience store frozen section. Three different kinds of shrimp; Buffalo, fried, and scampi. The scampi was the biggest joke, obviously microwaved. Small shrimp in a gelatinous substance with a strange lack of garlic, I actually found complete mud veins in a couple pieces. The Buffalo was the same shrimp as the fried, just slathered in a wing sauce. The breading was not good at all, and they all looked so uniform that I am willing to bet they are mass produced and frozen in China. Service was good. Our waitress was very attentive, and in regards to the rancid roo she was very nice and apologetic. We still tipped at 20% because she was just great. I just wish she had left her manager back in whatever isolated little hole of an office she came out from. Lastly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

You know, it wasn't bad. There 7 of us for dinner of which 4 were kiddos. The food was Outback average, however the service was great, thanks Preston! Very clean inside and out. One of the better Outbacks I've been to.

My brother in law and I decided to hit the Outback for lunch. What I like about this Outback restaurant is that it's very clean and recently done over. Our waitress Heather was very pleasant. These were the pros. The con....I ordered the full order Chicken Caesar Salad. The first thing that I thought of is that I could probably eat 2 of these. It barely covered the very shallow plate. It was about half the size of the Chicken Caesar Salad at the Texas Roadhouse for the same price ($10.99). The romaine lettuce was not crisp at all, and had to ask for more dressing. So, when I say "the con", I felt like I was conned. It may be awhile before I return, but when I do, it won't be for the Chicken Caesar Salad.

This location is pretty busy, but the wait staff is very accomodating. They take drink orders & sometimes pass out appetizer samples while you wait for a table. It's your typical outback franchise food, but we like it, and keep coming back for more.

If I could give zero I would. One is way too generous. The stench of dirty mops hits you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. The floors were sticky and the bathroom floors were slippery. The Sunday cook has no idea how to cook a steak. $15 for 2/3 of a really small pitcher of margaritas (the server said it serves 3, not really a deal). When I complained they said they would put more mix in if I wanted them too. I will say that they comp'ed the meals but I will never be back.

So over the years I have thought Quality has been being overlooked at Outback Steakhouses.....with that said we usually cook our steaks at home if we want a good one but we found ourselves out and about and well their isn't much in Spring Hill. It was such a waste of money! The steaks looked microwaved, particularly my filet, grey and lifeless, no sear marks to speak of. The blue cheese wedge salad is always great but steaks, not so much. What a waste a $ 100 meal! So disappointing!

I've dined at Outback restaurants from coast to coast and The Spring Hill Outback is the most fun. I have rarely waited and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and the specials. The food is very good and I enjoyed no surprises or disappointment.

Have you ever been to a restaurant that serves steaks and the meat is like chewing gum? Well, this is the place.. Chicken is good, Shrimp are farm raised but o.k. The only thing I've had here that I really like are the salads.. But really, how hard is it to make a salad.. ? The only reason I gave this place two stars was because the wait staff is rather good.. Sooo, if you want steak, Texas roadhouse is your best bet in Spring Hill.. I do think that Outback needs to find a another meat distributor..

Went here for "Bloomin' Monday" and we were not disappointed. We used the online option of adding our name to the waiting list, so when we arrived our wait was only about 5 minutes. Our server was very friendly and kept our drinks filled throughout our entire visit. We split an order of coconut shrimp, and order of wings, and we each had a salad in addition to our free "Bloomin' Onion." Everything was great, we were pleasantly surprised.
